4 bed 4 bathroom luxury house on a secure gated high quality development in the hamlet of Los Lobos, which is 10 minutes from the coast, 10 minutes to Cuevas del Almanzora, 20 minutes to major towns and 2 minutes off the AP7 motorway.
The 180m2 house is in a high quality gated development of 30 properties (10 houses, 20 apartments) finished to a very high standard, it is set on three floors with the underbuild being a very large secure garage/storage area with 1 occasional bedroom and 1 bathroom, on the first floor there are 2 further bedrooms (one with en-suite) a small bedroom/office and a family bathroom, on the second floor there is a very light and airy open plan living/dining room with private balconies at either end, and another bath/shower room, there are stairs to a utility room with washing machine etc. there is also a large private roof terrace/solarium.
The house is fully furnished down to crockery/cutlery, the kitchen has oven/microwave/dishwasher/kettle/toaster etc, there is also an osmosis drinking water system installed which means you never need to buy bottled water.

Local Vera Attractions: Los Lobos (The Wolves) is a small mountain village midway between Cuevas del Almanzora and San Juan de Los Terreros. With superb mountain views the village is populated by a mix of Spanish and English residents.
Recent years have seen a number of new housing developments, though the village maintains the local atmosphere and traditions. A fiesta is held every August and a special Fathers day event is held in March.
The area offers a wide variety of attractions and facilities close to Los Lobos, including many excellent golf courses (Desert Springs only 10 mins drive), water sports, winter sports near Granada (about 2 hrs drive) and plenty of country walks locally.
Visits to the water park at Garrucha and Mini Hollywood at Tabernas are among local attractions that will provide entertainment for children and adults alike! The local fiestas at various times of the year are great fun, and there are several markets held locally most days of the week.
The village is situated about 5 kms inland, with a wide variety of beaches nearby, ranging from quiet, sandy coves (about 10 mins drive) to the long beaches of Mojacar (about 20 mintes drive) and San Juan de los Terreros (5 minutes drive). The harbour and port of Aguilas and Garrucha are 15 - 20 minutes drive.Numerous 18 hole golf courses, including the renowned Desert Springs (10 mins drive)in the area all within 10 - 20 minutes drive. Soon the new motorway between Cartagena (Murcia) and Vera will open the way to enjoy places further a field with ease.
There is a supermarket in village where it is possible buy almost anything! For the larger supermarkets, banks, and a wide variety of shops, Vera is about 10 minutes drive and Cuevas del Almanzora closer at just some 5 minutes drive. There are numerous restaurants within easy driving distance and two bars in the village.
It is believed that Los Lobos as such was founded in the year 1840, as accomodation for the mining community that had developed in Sierra Almagrera. You will meet older locals there who are the children of the mining community who are the last direct descents of the miners. All at the town are proud of their history and you will hear stories being told in the afternoons by the old men playing dominoes at the two local bars.
The name Los Lobos does not come from the existence of wolves in past times, but comes from when the old foundry was built, some caves in the neighborhood were opened and the first houses were built, among them that of a man from Cartagena that had a small but famous venta (bar and trading establishment) in the neighborhood of the town, which was on the road from Cuevas del Almanzora to Águilas. This gentleman was nicknamed \"Uncle Wolf\" and it was for that reason that the area where he was for many years slowly but surely begun to be known as Los Lobos.
