Holiday Rental Long Term in Portico de la Vega, Catral, Spain
The house is new and on a small developement of only 21 houses all the same. There is a lovely central large communal swimming pool and sunbathing area, all gated and private. The house has a ground floor front terrace with table and chairs. Then entering into the house is the lounge, with dining table and chair for 4 people. There is a TV, DVD, coffee table and display cabinet all matching wood. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, ceramic hob, extractor, kettle, etc. It is a light cherry wood colour and has solid granite worktops. There is a seperate utility room, with water heater, belfast sink and washing machine, plenty of room for storage, and access through to the swimming pool. There is also a downstairs bathroom, with wash hand basin, wc, and illuminated mirror. Back into the lounge is the marble staircase that leads to the 1st floor. The master bedroom has double bed, 2 bedside chest with lamps, double wardrobe, and private balcony. The second bedroom is twin bedded, with bedside chest, and wardrobe and view over communal swimming pool. There is a good sized family bathroom. It has shower over bath, shower screen, wash hand basin, wc, bidet and illuminated mirror and shaver point. The staircase then leads up to the 2nd floor to a private large roof terrace, with good views of the distant mountains at Callosa & Crevillente.
Catral is a lovely town in the vega baja region of the Costa Blanca, it has a stunning church in the spanish plaza with bars and restaurants. There is plenty to do, lot of shops and supermaket, even a weekly market. Close by are the towns of Dolores & Almoradi, with even more amenities. The location is great only 25 minutes to Alicante Airport or 40 minutes to Murcia (San Javier) airport, both accessed by the cheap airlines. There is 5 golf courses in the area at present, more being planned. Nearest beach, just happens to be the best on the Costa blanca, that is Guardamar, 14km of golden sand an has the blue flag for cleaniness. There is also the resort of Torrevieja 25 minutes away. North is the Resort of Benidorm with the theme park of Terra mitica only 40 minutes away.
