Particularly good quality larger than average very comfortable accommodation for a couple with a good sized bedroom with a king size bed, large bathroom with double walk-in shower, dining table and chairs and an attractive lounge area with sofa and coffee table. There is a flat screen TV with English channels including BBC1, BBC2, ITV and satalite. There is a kitchen area with a variety of mod cons.
(NB There is a double sofa bed in the lounge offering the opportunity to sleep additional adults or one/two children.)
There is unlimited wireless connection in the apartment for anyone wishing to take their laptop on holiday to keep in touch.

The complex is gated. It has a distinctive entrance through which you are greeted with an attractive reception area with comfortable chairs. tables, vending machines and internet access via a computer terminal.
The complex has attractively shaped solar-heated pools including one for children and vast well kept very pretty tropical gardens.
The vast Matagorda beaches and sea are just a few minutes walk away. There is a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bars also minutes away. The main resort of Puerto del Carmen is a short taxi ride (approx 3Euros) away or can be reached by a walk along a very pleasant seafront promenade.
The complex has vast and spacious areas for sunbathing and relaxing and a plentiful supply of complimentary sunbeds around the patio and pool areas.
Our apartment is right by the pool - set slightly to one side providing a little privacy from the pool 'action' and a little peace if you are sitting on the apartment’s patio having a quiet drink!

This larger than average ground floor apartment offers you top quality soft furnishings beautifully co-ordinated, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and other little extras personally chosen by the owners, to provide the style and comfort you would want to experience throughout your stay.
The apartment is situated in an upmarket private holiday complex in a quiet area close to the much busier main resort of Puerto del Carmen, called Matagorda.
There are stunning views across the island and out to sea from the complex due to its elevated position.

Local Matagorda Attractions: Matagorda is the closest resort to the airport and it is currently enjoying a great deal of popularity. Possibly also because of it’s proximity to the main resort of Puerto del Carmen – which is just a ten-minute stroll away along a very smart sea front and the fact that it is generally a quieter area. This means that visitors who opt for staying in the quieter environs of Matagorda, a former fishing village, can easily access the more boisterous entertainment and nightlife of Puerto del Carmen.
The area of Matagorda has developed an identity of it’s own and in fact has become a resort of its own. There are vast beaches to walk along, or sunbath with sunbeds and parasols being readily available to hire at a reasonable cost.
It offers plenty of tourist bars and restaurants, as well as shopping facilities where you can find everything from designer wear, jewellery, supermarkets and tourist gifts. It also boasts a central commercial centre for tourists with a fair choice of restaurants, gift shops, a diving school and two supermarkets. A few minutes walk, turning right along the prom brings you to further restaurants and bars overlooking the beach and sea. Perfect for day or evening relaxation!
In general the area is ideal for those seeking a peaceful holiday without too many bright lights on the doorstep! The area of Matagorda is more suited to couples and families.
Watersports nearby and two golf courses, diving and sailing - all on hand near our apartment!
