Nerja is famous for its caves and the yearly international festival held in it (ballet, classical music, flamenco ...) in July. Also for the Balcón de Europa, in the centre of town, which offers fantastic views to the mountains and the sea. It is a small town full of life, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés. It also has all kinds of shops and supermarkets, and easy bus connections to other towns.
