Due to the unique position of this apartment, you are within 1 minutes walk of 2 beaches, 1 is on the Mediterranean side of the La Manga Strip, with the Mar Menor opposite. The beaches on the Mar Menor are also known as the healing beaches due to the minerals contained in the mud, people cover their bodies with the mud to aid arthritis and muscle aches and healthy skin. The nearest healing beach is 10 minutes walk and as is beachside restaurant.
Golf
There are the famous la manga club golf courses are within 30-45 minutes, please note there is a 9-hole pitch and putt with driving range within 5 minutes walk.
Travel
Murcia (Javier) airport is 35-45 mins and hire car or taxi transfer is essential.

Distances
The historic town of Catagena is 30 mins by car and also Murcia town the vibrant capital town is 40 mins by car.
tomas Maestre Marina is only 5mins by car or 1.05€ from the bus stop outside the apartment, here you have a variety of restaurantes and cuisine of all nationalities, also bars and icecream parlour, shops etc.
Nearer is the old fishing village Cabo de Palos 20 mins by car.

The many Mar Menor activities include, water skiing, sailing, boat charter, jet skis, snorkelling, scuba diving etc. Within walking distance there are restaurants and bars to suit all lifestyles. Further south on the strip brings you into lots of other choices and a more vibrant nightlife.
