The owner of the apartment, who speaks fluent Spanish, lives locally so can assist you with any problems you have during your stay. He can also assist with arranging car and bike hire

Local La Manga Attractions: The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk away on the Mediterranean side – the calm, shallow Mar Menor (ideal and safe for children) with beach bar is only a 10 min walk as well. The sea off this beach is also a source of the therapeutic mud for which La Manga is also known. And it’s free, so plaster yourselves!
100m away is a well stocked supermarket and there are also a number of bars and restaurants within short walking distance.
5 minutes away by car, or a 25 min stroll, is the delightful Marina Tomás Maestre, with a wealth of Spanish and international bars and restaurants, plus a Burger King, 2 more supermarkets, bank with cash-machine and a chemists. From the marina there is a ferry for passengers and bikes, across the Mar Menor to Santiago de la Ribera, with its excellent beaches and large number of cafés and restaurants. A great way to see the marina from the sea and also enjoy the open sea itself. Something around here for everyone’s tastes and requirements.
Only 100m away from the apartment is a newly opened 5 star hotel, where you can relax in its spa or at the outside bar, or indeed enjoy a special meal in its restaurant.
