Torrevieja is a large town on the Costa Blanca, which started life as a small fishing village. Today it is primarily a Spanish tourist resort but with a rapidly expanding ex-patriot community, and a cosmopolitan feel. The ‘old tower’, from which Torrevieja got its name, is still in existence as an historic monument.
This 3 bedroom property is situated on the outskirts of the town centre, in a residential area, and is approximately 1.5 km from the beach. It is easily accessible from Alicante or Murcia airport, and the main N332 road, which runs along the full length of the coast. This makes it an ideal base for exploring the area, or visiting the many local golf courses, including Villamartin, Campoamor, and Las Ramblas.
The bus to the beach and town centre stops near to the apartment complex, and it is close to a large hypermarket, and a modern shopping centre, which contains many designer outlets.
Also in the immediate area there is a car hire firm, a bank, a medical centre, a taxi rank, police station and a bowling alley. Within walking distance there is an Italian and a Chinese restaurant, an American style diner, and various other bars and cafes, including traditional Spanish tapas. A casino and Pachas night club are nearby. Children will appreciate the close proximity of Macdonalds, Burgerking and KFC.
Within 15 mins walk is the aqua park, Aquopolis, which is open June to September. The ‘Paramount’ Terra Mitica Theme Park is about an hours drive away, just outside Benidorm. It has lots of Florida style rides, most of which involve getting wet!
There is a large street market in Torrevieja every Friday, and a smaller street market, along the main front, every day and evening where, in the summer months, there is also a fun fair.

As access to the apartment is via a flight of stairs, it is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Due to the convenience of the location some traffic noise is to be expected.
The pool is open from late May/June to September.
