Close to these Almoradi Apartments are the following attractions: The town is a bustling little place with supermarkets, shops, medical centre, banks, inexpensive restaurants and a good selection of cafe/bars. It is a traditional Spanish town with a substantial number of British residents and cafe bars. The cuisine caters for various tastes. There are the Spanish bars with tapas and British, Italian, Indian and Chinese restaurants all with reasonable prices. Most restaurants will provide takeaways, deliveries just up the road for those of you who would rather chill out on the terrace on a balmy evening with a nice glass of sangria!
The main focal point of the town is the square with 2 open air bars, a children`s play area and an ice cream parlour shaded by large ornamental trees. On Saturdays it is surrounded by a large open air market where almost anything can be bought. There are no fewer than 8 park/play areas for children with eating/drinking areas.
There is a new Bowling Alley (5 lanes) and a small zoo in the town. There is also an outdoor public swimming pool.
The area has its own microclimate with summers hot and dry, while the winters are very mild.Summer temperatures rarely below 30c (86f) Winter temperatures hovering around 18c (64f)
